If You Could Retire Anywhere In Your Country, where would it be.

I would love to have retired in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The weather is great and you have the change of seasons. You also have the University in town that offers those that retire so much. Buses take you and your bike around free and many who live there call it "a little bit of heaven"

That being said, my daughter is here and my son in florida so I wouldn't leave. It has worked out pretty well with the ability to fly now and then. Nothing is perfect and family comes first.

I can't visualize living anywhere else but right here; am perfectly happy where I am. Now if the Winters would only be warmer with no snow it would be perfection!

We've bought our retirement bungalow in Perth. Its a lovely town and has some beautiful country round about for days out. The dogs should be happy there too

I would choose Devon, it's such a pretty county and lots to see and do there.

I'm probably biased as we visit there every year and know it so well!
