Can you help me out gals .....

I've taken to wearing scarves lately and I like the 40's look. The gals then, wore the scarf in a certain way, it looked like a hat, knotted at the top. I can make a start - knot at the top, which leaves the rest of the scarf behind me, I grasp that to bring it up to the top, but then I'm left with a flap either side .... How is it done .......?

Therea a lot to look at gal - and I've now realised I got the wrong scarf
The gals on the vids have 'long' scarves - mine is square - now I'm gonna have to get me the 'right' one and practice
