I find both the new £10's and the new £5's stick together so easily.
Last week I paid a lady for something with a ten pound note, and I am so lucky she was honest, because when I saw her this week, she gave me a £10 note back, and said I had given her two stuck together.
I was completely unaware of this.
I find the fivers are the same when they are new and crisp too.
So be warned, and double check your notes.

My husband deals in cash a lot with his job he's found two notes stuck together in his vending machines too, people must be losing a lot of money that way.

Re: £10 notes

I have found a few old £10 notes. Will my bank still take them or do I have to take them to the Bank of England in London?

Your bank should still take them. My dad had 9 old tenners in his drawer he found last week and the bank exchanged them for new ones x

Neither did I. I found them amongst my late wife’s things.

That'll be to stop you spending it on wayward women and booze then.

Actually, I love that word too. Is it slightly more classy than Floosy, or is it the other way round do you think?
Then of course, there's always 'Wench' as well.

'Ere, that makes me wonder what they call 'loose, immoral men' ?
Bloody good chap, I bet!
