end filler panel in to fit shower unit, floor battoned up to raise for waste pipe.

Tomorrow plasterer to start work which means a new ceiling as well

Had a look at the old flush ceiling lights. Wow what a nightmare to replace a bulb if one blew. It meant actually removing the fitting to get to the top part which meant getting into the loft.
Then the bulb removal required a retaining ring inside the fitting to be released before one could take out the bulb.

I struggled on my computer table to release it so heavens knows what it would have been like trying to do it in a loft.

most of new floor laid bar a small strip today. Shower tray should have been installed but one delivered had a flaw in it and replacement now here ready for instal on Monday.

Moving right along! I have done a lot of tile work and have to say the larger ones save so much time. Really enjoying this thread; you are doing such a nice job.

it pays to get professionals in, we are letting them do all the work. Getting that shower tray on was a really tight fit , you could not get even a match stick in anywhere between the tray and the walls

Just the grouting now and the tiling is finished
