I've been with Santander (or Abbey National as was) for nearly 30 years.

Currently I have a 123 current account which charges me £5 a month for the pleasure of keeping the account open but I get on average £25 per month on cashback and interest. Plus the minimum deposit required per month is only £500 whereas a lot of other banks want £1000.

Their interest rate is 1.5.

We have a couple of accounts that we send money around to get the best interest rates for their saver accounts

Not much point in taking my overdraft elsewhere.
