Re: Soft or hard

I used to like mine firm and runny, too, but, AFAIK, health advice dictates fully firm cooked eggs nowadays .....

Re: Soft or hard

I buy mine from a farm nearby now
They're the best ever...probably because they're the freshest I've ever used.

Re: Soft or hard

I like my egg well done, with a tiny bit of butter on the yolk.

I've heard others say they do that Susie

I suppose I do it to ...

Re: Soft or hard

I eat soft boiled eggs. I make scrambled eggs and leave them quite runny. I make my own mayonnaise with raw egg and oil. I have partly boiled runny yolks eggs on top of cooked spinach.
I also make a pudding with raw eggs in that you "cook" overnight in the fridge. A salad isnt a salad without boiled eggs in it, the same with sandwiches. Never been ill from eating eggs.

Re: Soft or hard

I don't mind a snotty boiled egg, much preferred to a hard yolk and pretty much the same with scrambled I much prefer them on the runny side..

I think the health advice is for people who are medically more at risk
I know I wasn't allowed to eat raw eggs whilst pregnant

Exactly that but as you say, it's not easy to achieve.
