It was the last episode last night (Tues. Ch.5. 8 pm)

I felt so choked when Peter lost his old dog through illness.
He said he felt his house wasn't a home anymore without his old dog there. So very sad.
I reckon he's a lovely fella - well both the vets are.
He's a Yorkshireman, all us Yorkshiremen are lovely.

(well, for the most part)

Except there are exceptions to every rule, Judsy.

One of my Mup's puppy's went up to Bolty, Thirsk a few years back, and I've often wondered if that practice is where she goes. Maybe I'll see the pup on the programme one day.

I agree with your thoughts on 'chainstore' vets, I feel the same. Unfortunately I think that is the way things will be one day, all the smaller independent practices will have gone. It'll be all about big business.

I'm wondering now if there will be another series if Julian has left now?
I hope so Mups

Re: The Yorkshire Vet

Is anyone watching the current series, it looks like Peter is running the Skeldale Practice and Julian runs Boroughbridge after they parted company

I am so glad the programme is still going on after the split

Yes, I agree Meg, I still enjoy watching it too.
I also love the old couple from the farm, that took their new kitten in to him this week. Real characters.

Julian seems to be working with his wife a fair bit now, doesn't he.

They both seem such nice men, don't they.

Mups that's Mrs Green isn't it. I wonder why she has chains on her arms .
Julian's wife seems nice, what a lovely life working with animals in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside

Julian is a lovely man on twitter too, very kind. It was a shame they split but I like that julian wanted to be independent, really not enough independents these days.
