What are your hobbies?

I was thinking today that apart from music and going to the gym I don't have many hobbies anymore.
I read a book occasionally, go to the odd concert, watch DVDs at weekends and I like to socialise with my friends on Saturdays, but they are hardly what you call a hobby.
Most of this is because of my working nights and I have a few things to recommence once I get back to day work in a couple of years' time (such as watching rugby league again).

Do you have many hobbies and if you are retired, how many of these are new?

Yes I have lots of hobbies
-woodworking - wood burning or pyrography - painting (water colour & acrylic)-sewing - baking- jewelry making - writing - gardening - music - singing and instrumental ( sax & keyboards )

Jewelry making is my only relatively new hobby that I’ started since I retired.
Now I’ve become a bead hoarderer.

My hobbies are seasonal or just something I do when I have the time. Gardening I love. I'm in the middle of building a small wooden sailing boat and have already built a wooden canoe. Canoeing of course. Sailing. I like to go metal detecting, I do glass work (Tiffany style), woodworking whether it's working on the house or making something. Playing darts. I have a workshop and a garage full of tools and I love to fix stuff. I guess our 180+ year old house is a permanent hobby.

I've only picked up metal detecting in the last couple of years.

Learning - just signed up for a new course.

Reading - anything and everything.

Hi

Fish keeping, fishing,cooking and travelling.

I love my travel, but prefer to off the beaten track and stay with the locals.

Lounging on the beach or by a pool is just boring, I need to be doing something.

Keeping Tropical Fish.

Not as many as before my hands got painfull.
Knitting and crochet, keep my hands working, can get too painfull at times though.
Reading, wordsearch, playing games on FB, Snake mania is my new favourite.
Gardening, raising plants from seed rather than the heavy stuff.
Anything crafty, I like to make my own Steampunk accessories.
Photography, which has taken the place of art now, although I'm thinking of joining a local Art group which does Life Drawing, I did enjoy that so I might see if I can manage it again !
Oh, being a model for my youngest who is a make-up artist, that's great fun! As you can see, I'm Baby Jane at the moment!
