I used to fit kitchens / bathrooms when I was self employed. They are the worst for upheaval by their nature.

It's surprising the difference it can make by just upgrading your kitchen. What I mean is, replacing just the door and drawer fronts, handles and worktops.

The difference can be huge, but much cheaper and less aggro.

Even having the floor done makes such a difference

Try and take photos before during and after as a record of what has been done. It could help if selling up
