Sensitive ?

For years I have used Fairy washing powder because husband has very sensitive skin but the price is ridiculous 85 wash size £19 !
Anyone tried any others that work but are kind to skin ? and a little cheaper

Re: Sensitive ?

Hi Julie

I use Daz only because it is the only one that does not make me itch.

Don't think it works out any cheaper 22 washes for £5. I usually wait until it is on special offer, then stock up on it.

Re: Sensitive ?

I use Ecover ZERO fabric conditioner - it is wonderful - so fresh.
I also use Surcare for washing clothes and again Surcare washing up liquid - no more expensive ........

Sheila buys Formil from Lidl at £6.70 for 65 washes and it doesn't make us itch.

Re: Sensitive ?

I noticed from your area Julie you live in a hard water area.
You have to use a little more than say I do in a softer water area.
I used Daz for over 30 years but then they changed the formula
without telling us and we all came out in a skin rash. Didn't realise
it was the Daz having been OK for decades. I rang them up and we
got a £5 voucher for Fairy non Bio and they said they had changed
it. Now been using the Fairy for 10 years. I buy mine in bulk when
the price has been cut down. We got about 6 boxes when it was on
offer for £6. Still using some of it
Since then have seen it on offer for £8. We get the box weighing 2.24kilo

Re: Sensitive ?

Yes very hard water here, have to use descaler on the shower screen daily and descale the kettle fortnightly it's that bad !

Looks like I will have to look for it when it's on offer, lidl is too far away would cost as much in petrol to get there as I would save. Will look at surcare though and see how much that is.

Re: Sensitive ?

Try Phuckit
If Daz won't wash it clean.
If Ariel fails to do the job
Then Phuckit.
