Re: Worry

I worry about silly, little things but the big stuff never phases me, or is it, fazes me?

Guess what? I wish l had never seen this thread! I could do with some 'worry' beads!

Re: Worry

I'm now worried...do I worry enough or do I worry too much?

The worry is that worrying about worrying could cause more stress which is worrying in itself.

Why worry about them?

This will cause you to worry unnecessarily, which could result in a health problem, such as high blood pressure.

High blood pressure can affect the kidneys and other organs, render you susceptible to a stroke, heart attack, cancer, mental health problems (various)

Yep ... we are all doomed and will 'probably' die of something ... or maybe not

Death only happens to other people

Live for the moment, the difficulty is deciding which moment.

Re: Worry

Images of sorrow, pictures of delight, things that go to make up a life. the trick is making sense of it, stop clapping the illusionist, for a start.

Re: Worry

I don't think worrying kills, just makes your life miserable and may stop you doing things or enjoying them. Anger festering away inside is worse for longevity & more likely to raise blood pressure/mess up your body with binge eating or self medicating. IMO harmful stress is down to repressed anger and an inability to cope with upsets rather than worrying. Worrying is just a way of avoiding living life.

Re: Worry

Antelopes are among the most stressed animals on the planet - its what keeps them alive . Were they relaxed and laid back they would all be eaten by lions.
