shower

Shower screen, cubicle or curtain?

I have a curtain and I've to keep washing it as it smells. I've an over the bath shower. I like curtains as you can get some lovely ones, but I think I'll end up having a screen fitted

Which do you prefer?

Re: shower

I've got a curtain Alice, because mine is a walk in shower in a wet room. If I had an over the bath one I think I'd prefer a screen as you could easily wipe it over after each shower.

Re: shower

Myrtle I'd prefer a cubicle . That's one thing I miss from my house. I had an ensuite shower cubicle.

Mups, a wet room sounds great . Yes, I think I'll end up getting a screen. Must check the January sales!

Re: shower

When I moved into this flat 6 years ago there wasn't a shower screen so my son-in-law fitted a two piece sliding screen which was great. Trouble with the sliding ones is that the runners eventually break so he's recently replaced it with a 4 panel folding screen which I got from B&Q ... reduced from about £120 to around £80 .... I'm really pleased with it

It's a lot easier to clean than the sliding one ... no nooks and crannies !!!

Re: shower

When we had the bath removed and proper shower fitted I thought the end to the horrible shower curtains, and I was right just now I spend hours scrubbing the shower screen to get the hard water marks off Think chucking the shower curtain in the washing machine was actually easier !

Re: shower

Myrtle I like the idea of the folding screen.

May, that's what I like about curtains. So many lovely designs to brighten up a white bathroom.

Think I'll have a look at Argos online
