That's very interesting Denis, to be honest I'm not sure what I've got on here, there is a firewall (I think) and there's something that pops up every other day and says my 'anti-virus software has been updated (In a nice Amarican accent)

Do I need something for 'Spyware' as well ???

My bank lets's me log on OK so if what you say is true I must have at least the minimum they require so that's reassured me somewhat.

But how do they know what I've got installed ????

Re: Arrrgh, Digital Banking

I can't imagine not using the internet for banking these days, though I have had the odd problem.
The prize one was when I phoned up because I couldn't log on. The helpful expert asked me about security and then said 'Oh that may be the trouble. Try turning off your FIREWALL ' Not the best solution.

I bank online too, I haven't encountered any problems yet (almost nine years now), I can't imagine going back to conventional banking now!

I do sometimes worry about the security side of things though.

Spysweeper is a good one Harvey, it's about £20 a year but well worth it.
