maybe one day I might understand the new bulbs. I only know 40W, 60W and 100W.

Yes dimmable just means that if you have dimmable light switches they are capable of doing that.
Apart from this the bulbs are just the same as any other, and will work in the usual way.
I see that the bulbs are 7W so they might be on e=the edge of being bright enough for you Art, but you won't know for sure until you plug 'em in.

Whatever you do though.
NEVER use the 50W versions, as they use a LOT of electricity, particularly when you have a lot of the bulbs on all at the same time.

Remember this.

1W of electricity left on for 1 year costs around £1.05p.

My only caveat Art is whether or not they will be bright enough for you.
But what I can say is this.
We ONLY USE LED bulbs, including GU10s in our home.
Brought the lighting bills down a treat!

Yes, Boozie. I think you’re right about the brightness. I need lots of light in the kitchen.
