Zoopla can put any price on my flat if they want, but the actual value is dictated by the housing association. They DO tend to look at others in the area, but we can never inflate the price in the hope of making money. Their surveyor gives their valuation, and we have to stick to it, so anything Zoopla may come up with could well be false.Re: Zoopla
See, what I find bonkers, on programmes like Escape to the Country is, the punters start off with a budget, say £500k, which presumably is part funded by some sort of agreed in principle Mortgage, they are then shown a property that needs work for say £400k, and the presenter says, that will give you a budget of £100k to sort it out, not if it's being mortgaged it won't cos the cash didn't exist in the first place.Re: Zoopla
