Re: McDonalds cleanliness and hygiene???

The MacDonalds I go to occasinally with the grandkids are normally kept very clean. There is always somebody wiping the tables and mopping the floor.
I've seen these places when are very busy though and I guess the sfaff cope as best they can.
I reckon we need to think about our own hygiene first as we tuck into our Big Macs with our fingers. Who washes their hands before eating in those establishments I wonder?

I have never been in a McDonalds that looked like that they always have someone cleaning up all the time.

Re: McDonalds cleanliness and hygiene???

I attend a Macdonalds about once a Month , treats for grand kids and have noticed they always seem to have someone old cleaning up, looks like a job opportunity for me.
Is the problem related to those establishments in big city’s and near to the entertainment hotspots I wonder.

OMGosh...that video is more than just disgusting, it's an accident waiting to happen. I have never been in a McD's that I felt was unclean...but if I ever did come across one...I'd be out of there lickety split...and probably report them...

As others have said...as a rule when you're there someone is always clearing the trash and someone else is washing the floors...

I never once took my grandsons to McD, Burger King nor KFC. Just as I have never bought a McD. Burger. I did have some chips once, bought by my son, they were tasteless, yuk...

I also dislike intensely Frankie & Bennies at which I have eaten a couple of times, noisy with ghastly food.

I have far too much respect for my digestive system to contemplate entering in any of these establishments and partaking of their food.

Re: McDonalds cleanliness and hygiene???

I’m just out of McD’s

Have the grandchildren here so a bit of a treat

And it was a treat

Things have changed sine I last visited. Big self service screams, customise your own meal , pay for it and it’s delivered straight to your table

It was bunged in there, full of young families and the place was spotless. Tables wiped the minute the were vacated and the floors constantly being swept. There were staff stood by the bins and condiment stations keeping things clean and tidy

Most impressed

I don't know if there was somewhere to wash his hands but he never availed himself of it.

He'd serve breakfasts until rest of staff stumbled in then go behind the scenes, no idea what he did there.

But it put me off ever using their premises of eating their foods.
I'm not surprised - old thread, I know - but the MacDonalds I went to through the week was spotless and the food very hot and tasty.
