Unbelievable! Reigning champions, Italy, have now been knocked out of the World Cup by Slovakia!
What a great game it was too - plenty of drama and tension in the last 10 minutes of the game.
What's going on with all the top teams?
France out, now Italy out - England hanging on by the skin of their teeth ........

You fellow non-WC enthusiasts might get a grin out of this. I've tried to avoid all the hoopla on TV and the papers as I'm just not interested; well on the bus shortly after I got on four young men in USA Soccer jerseys boarded and proceeded to talk loudly with great enthusiasm about todays game with Ghana ad Argentina's team, and on and on and on; I was SO glad when it was time to get off the bus!
