A wedding card.

Was commissioned to make a wedding card for a gay couple. Theme is yellow and silver. Card stock is pale yellow with a slightly darker mottle. I made some pink and yellow roses, and added a photo mounted on silver. Inside of card - left panel has the details of the wedding on a watermark picture of Seckford Hall where it will take place. Right panel has an 'Apache' blessing also on a watermark of Seckford Hall. Centre panel I have left blank as the mother of the bride wants to write her own words. Made a box of glossy yellow card.

Thank you all for your kind comments. I do love making cards and would be more than happy to oblige if any of you need something a bit different or special.

Re: A wedding card.

Good idea Tabs, I will bear that in mind.

I went through a phase of card making, still got a few of the bits and bobs now, but mine never got past the stage of looking like they'd been made on Blue Peter.
A really nice hobby though.

Hi

A stunning card Tabby.

I know Seckford Hall very well, used to live less than a mile away.

Re: A wedding card.

Just had an email from the mother of the bride - the card arrived safely and she says it is perfect.

I can uncross my fingers now!
