It's funny isn't it . . ..

Satellites orbiting Earth can see the detail on a £10 note lying on the street

With just a Nikon camera, Mister_Oy can take a very detailed and reasonably close up shot of the moon

and yet . . .

The Hubble telescope, which can see globular star clusters and galaxies millions of light years away, can not point to the moon and show us the Lunar Landing Platform that was allegedly left behind in 1969 !!! Go figure !

1969 . . . . never happened.

Probably because it's too close. I have binoculars that can't focus on close items because the bins are too powerful.

You need to focus on the moon and not the Firemen's pole.

That is a great shot Mr Oy. I love seeing the moon and would love to have been the first person to step on it. It's strange how it just hangs there.
