Why aren't the banks skint ? (The ones largely 'Nationalised')

Political will ?

Priorities ?

All rhetorical......

So let me see if I have this correct.

The NHS is skint because the banks are not skint.

Is that the reason then?

I'm trying to make some sort of connection, but you'll have to give me a little more time. After all, I am a thick right-wing Brexiteer, aren't I?

If you go to our Hospital for A&E, you will be there for 9hrs. before they see to you.

I think that probably depends upon the time of day and the day of the week.

Saturday night must be the worst, for obvious reasons.

I don't recognise any of these horror stories...I've nothing but praise for our surgery and our hospital.
I must be living in Paradise and never knew it!

I can't comment personally, as it is (fortunately) a few years since my wife and I had need of attending Casualty.

That was the very day before we were due to leave for a holiday in Gibraltar. Marge was going down the steps to collect something from her car, tripped and sprained her ankle. It turned out there was actually a small fracture and our holiday had to be cancelled.

Our visit to Casualty that evening resulted in a four hour wait, although that was about par for the course at that time.
