Pug, you are getting your artistes confused.

It was John Inman who was free. Dick Emery was a generation earlier with Mandy who was awful.

I know you like facts so I am feigning pedanticy (is that a word)

Re: Leisurely Scribbles (part 5)

Re old pals gumbud, the person I knew the longest was my mother, happily promoted to Glory in 2011, when I was 63.

I am occasionally in contact with 2 blokes I started school with in 1953 & a further 3 from 1959. Friends in business date from 1964. My last remaining aunt is 94 & uncle is 97.

So now we know.

Living now in a retirement home all our friends here are in the 80-99 range & our main social gatherings are funerals. Now counting our days remaining.

Pug, I met John Inman in about 1972 at the opening of a new mens wear dept, he was exactly as described on the packet.

It is easy to lose the sense of time when venturing into the Twilight Zone.

Re: Leisurely Scribbles (part 5)

I met Dick Emery several times when I was doing studio musician work,RJ.
I didn't realise we were quoting from just one show....'you DURTEH old man!'

Anyway...apropos of sfa...
I've applied for a job with Microsoft in their W12 development dept.
I don't know if I was successful-they haven't yet answered my telegram.
