Cheese

I seem to have a cheese addiction, I suddenly realised not a day passes I don't eat either Parmesan or the cheaper version tesco sells or cheddar particularly cathedral city mature. It was as I raided the fridge a few minutes ago for something to take my tablets with and I went straight for the cathedral city I realised this

Mozzarella and feta however are food of the devil really can't see why anyone could like them !

What cheeses are your favourites and are there any you don't like ?

Re: Cheese

Wensleydale with Ginger is my very favourite and it helps to relieve the sickly feeling I sometimes get after my chemo.

I really am not keen on some of the soft French cheeses but I do like Camembert fried with a gooseberry sauce.

Re: Cheese

Julie, you are definitely not alone with your cheese fetish.
I go through loads of it, it's my biggest vice along with chocolate digestives with my coffee and a few pints at the weekend.
My exercise routine and busy time at work offsets the guilt!
It's mostly mature but I like those little mixture net bags of various cheeses on savoury biscuits too.
Can't stand Stilton or cottage cheese though.

I couldn't agree more - my own favourites being Wensleydale, Lincolnshire Poacher, and very mature cheddar.

Re: Cheese

Mature cheddar
Marmite cheddar
Pineapple halo
Stilton with apricot

My cholesterol was slightly raised last year and I thought...is it all the cheese I eat? But I just love it.

Re: Cheese

Cathedral City Mature and their spread, yum!
I've moved to Cheddar just to be close to more cheese!
