If fluttering away some money provides an interest, I wouldn't think that any different to spending money on other pastimes or forms of entertainment. Many of these have to be paid for as well and like gambling, once the entertainment is over, it vanishes into the past and the money is gone.Re: Trying to turn £2 into £1000
I once read, you have a better chance of walking up to a stranger in the street and guessing their telephone number than you do guessing the winning numbers of the lottery!Re: Trying to turn £2 into £1000
It's become a kind of tradition that the children and I buy a couple of lines on a lottery ticket between us when they come to stay. That's about the only time I do now.
