Good afternoon all...I didn't realise you still dance Myrtle, thought I had read somewhere you had to give it up. You are lucky to have a venue which has dancing sessions. There used to be a couple in my neck of the woods but they closed down. Still have my dancing shoes though, bought them from blackpool years ago. I haven't got the stamina now to dance every dance as I used to, wish I had. Be good to chat when we meet

Hello everyone .... late start on here for me today ... loadsa organising/phone calls/form filling - all dance related
Yes Venus I still dance at least three times a week but usually four times
.... it's sequence that I do but on a Saturday night most weeks I go to 50/50 at Wythenshawe Forum - fabulous ballroom You are right though in that a lot of venues have closed down.
I always bought my dance shoes in Blackpool but now I get them through the internet from Hong Kong and at £25 a pair including £8.00 postage I ususally order two or three pairs at a time - a bargain !
I had to stop dancing for a few years when my hips got too bad but started again about a year after they were replaced.
Carol .... no I don't have any "post frocks" .... I do have three dresses (not frocks) but I mainly wear "dressy" skirts and tops ... and I have six pairs of dance shoes at the moment ... silver/black/bronze/cream/silver sparkly (2 pairs)
I only wear 2" heels .... can't walk in anything higher now !Hope your day's going well

I just popped in to say good morning...Oh for the days I could sleep for 8 or 9 hours! I didn't drop off to sleep till 2.00am and up again at 7.00.Ah well - up now - 2 mugs of coffee and a bit of peace & quiet before the day starts.
