I always make Delia's classic trifle at Easter.
She gets you making real custard, not difficult, so much much yummier than a packet.
Talking of using booze in puddings, if you ever make the Jamie Oliver Winter Bombe my goodness the Vin Santo is so expensive!!
I used fruit juice last time, just as good!
