Do Any of You Have 20/15 vision?

Or better? Anyone in your family?

It's supposed to be quite common. My daughter has 20/15 vision and I wondered if it was anything to do with her mother taking a lot of vitamin e, especially at the time of birth. This was before the dire warnings of taking such supplements while pregnant.

Both sides of the family have a "poor record" when it comes to eyesight, so it seems odd she has been "spared".

Anyway leaving that aside, would anyone care to answer the questions above.

Not likely as I have to wear glasses. I suppose 20/15 vision must be like HD.

I don't know how she has had a diagnosis of 20/15.
The 20/20 system is used in USA not Europe. We used the 6/6 system .
I have 6/9 binocular unaided but 6/4 corrected.

Last time i went the optician and he asked me to read the letters off the chart, i said .... What Chart ?
I've got diplopia, (double vision), and have to keep closing one eye to make it go away. I probably couldn't recognise someone who was standing the other side of the road, especially if it were bright sunshine.

The only good thing about being over 50 is that my short sight is improving. But that's because I'm developing long sight....
