Spinach Casserole

This is delicious, I served it at a party last month.

Spinach Casserole

2- 10z-Pkg frozen chopped spinach,thawed & drained
2C cream style cottage cheese
1/2 c butter cut into pieces
1 1/2 c Velveeta cheese cubed
3 eggs beaten
1/4 c flour
pepper to taste

Thoroughly combine all ingredients in mixing bowl .Pour into a well greased crockpot( slow cooker).Cover & cook on high for 1 1/2 hours on high. Then turn down to low for 4-5 hours.

Re: Spinach Casserole

Gee Missy, I don't know what it would be called there. It isn't fresh cheese like you would get at a dairy store. It is prepackaged cheese.....you get at the grocery store.

Re: Spinach Casserole

Looked it up and it seems velveeta is like processed cheese slices, it's not easy to work with if that's it. It melts to a plasticky texture I've always found.
