Radiator Covers

Anyone bought wooden covers, either off the shelf or made to measure? Seems they just hang on hooks on the wall either side

Expect about 20% less efficiency and radiated heat.

But then your carpet and furniture won't match. It's an old trick.

When I built my last home I made the mistake of saying how ugly and intrusive radiators were....especially in a house that was architect designed.

My wife found these.....jeez, how I wish I'd kept quiet.

Heating 14 rooms was obscenely costly and ineffective though very attractive
