Radiator Covers
Anyone bought wooden covers, either off the shelf or made to measure? Seems they just hang on hooks on the wall either side

My hubby put some baton up and screwed them in to stop them being wobbly.

Expect about 20% less efficiency and radiated heat.

Groan - Mrs Dobra (bless her cotton and nylon socks), saw one in a magazine and said it would save me painting the radiators......
Thanks for your replies anyway

But then your carpet and furniture won't match. It's an old trick.

When I built my last home I made the mistake of saying how ugly and intrusive radiators were....especially in a house that was architect designed.
My wife found these.....jeez, how I wish I'd kept quiet.
Heating 14 rooms was obscenely costly and ineffective though very attractive
