I can't remember the same hysteria over the IRA attacks, that continued over a longer period. HERE
I am not under estimating the threat, but there is a rising paranoia over every brown skinned man or female that 'looks' like they might be Muslim.

You seem to be having a problem understanding the issue. Jihadi recruits left this country to go and fight for various factions in the Middle East. Those jihadis are now returning, many almost certainly fully trained in the use of arms and explosives. They are a risk to the people of this country. They need to be identified and either stopped from entering or confined. The argument about racism which you seem to be trying to promote is nonsense. If it's more likely that the terrorists while be brown and Muslim, then that is a fact which need to be considered, it's not racism to say so.
