Making soft toys

I have a few interest in the way of painting and handicrafts, one of them being to make soft toys. I'd love to know if anyone else has this interest.

These two dolls were my last project which I found interesting and very enjoyable to make.

Re: Making soft toys

They are lovely ! I make dolls clothes for various sized dolls, either knitted or sewn. Just learning how to make hats, which is interesting me at the moment.

They are so nice ,remind me a little of the Cabbage Patch kids, they came with adoption certificates.
I do embroidery ,and sometimes make them into Cushions.

Does that mean that I can find some delicious recipes on here? I bake when bored and usually just chuck it all in It usually turns out alright.

Your dolls are really nice Alberta, in fact I would go as far as saying they are better than some you see in the shops today

Re: Making soft toys

I've just knitted a 'Bagpuss' and it's turned out quite well, but the assembly instructions were dreadful. Things like 'attach legs to body' isn't very helpful, when you don't know which bit goes where!
