Geez Julie, that must've been a long few hours waiting!
Do you think you'll live that one down?!

We got locked out of our last house once. Each of us thought the other had the house key with them. Silly buggers eh!
But we were fairly new to locking up at the time, so have that as an excuse!
My husband got back in by climbing a ladder to a window on the second floor which we knew didn't lock properly.
Soon got that fixed. And a key planted outside!!

Actually it seems to have caused a bit of a problem at work. There should be 24/7 security a man sat watching cameras at all times. So no one should be locked down there no matter what they've done for more than about ten minutes.

So my funny story that I managed even as I waited for rescue to chuckle about has got a few people in trouble, made me feel quite guilty

Well, it's not your fault is it that somebody wasn't doing their job!
So get rid of that guilt.
