SARA Boot Sale Lanzarote For The Doggies

Well done girls the weekly Car Boot Sale to raise awareness of animal cruelty in Lanzarote. Many dogs get abandoned after the hunting season as the locals refuse to feed them at the end of their usefulness. SARA tries to rehome some of the dogs. No dog is ever put to sleep. Podenco are the local hunting dogs and have a gentle nature with humans

Just after we left there another abandoned Podena. A bich heavily pregnant. Thankless task but at least they are now offering free sterilisation. Pic of some of the lady volunteers and friends too.
