Hi,

Do you mean the pressure gauge?
That's fairly normal. The heating circuit is normally filled to around 1.1 - 1.3 bar cold, and will rise when the heating is on anything up to 0.8 bar above the cold fill pressure.
If the pressure gets too high, the boiler will lock out on a safety. (Normally around 3 bar)

Sounds like nothing to worry about....

Hi Sarah,

Yes that's fine - don't worry. After the heating has been running, it will still take a while for the pressure to drop back down. Maybe look at the pressure first thing in the morning before its been running and see what the pressure is then. Should be around 1.1 - 1.3 when cold.

1.9 is fine Sarah - don't worry about it.
As I said, even if it gets too high, the boiler will just lock itself out. All sounds ok to me...

Hi,

No, you'll have to push a reset button first - it won't reset on it's own.
Don't worry though - all sounds ok. If you get any issues, just get back to me on here..
