Re: Wedding Rings

My husband wore one for about twenty years then got it caught in a machine at work and had to have it sawn off. I think if he hadn't done that he'd still have one.

Mine got managled in a similar accident and he bought me a replacement straight away.

Re: Wedding Rings

We exchanged rings almost 50 years ago but he lost it while swimming in the sea in Minorca 17 years later. He said he felt lost without it so we got him a new one while on holiday in Greece, he never takes it off.

Re: Wedding Rings

I was reading through this thread, thinking I don't know half those names, before realizing it is an old thread. My hubby does not wear a wedding ring, it was his choice. I was thinking of having his forehead tattooed with I'm taken, but never bothered.

Re: Wedding Rings

I still have all my wedding rings.

Seriously though, I do wear one and wear it with pride.

Re: Wedding Rings

I still wear mine although widowed for going on for thirteen years. I'll never take it off and it is my hope that it will be put in with my ashes along with my wife's wedding ring before being placed in our plot at the local cemetery.

Which one?

Judd, how very romantic in a terribly said way.

------

My dad has worn his for 58 years...but removes it when he's in his shop or flying.
