Cranberry, it is a beautiful place. I suppose everyone loves where they come from. I never stop admiring Scotland and there's always new places to go. My plan next year is to go to Skye, where my great, great, great grandfather was a shepherd. Also The Isle of Mull

Yes, you are so lucky - at least you appreciate it. We've been all around the Scottish Borders then the East coast but have yet to visit the west of Scotland. I just love all the small towns and villages.We first visited around 20 yrs ago, the last time we came up we went to Braemar and I saw my first red squirrel, so chuffed, never thought I'd see one.

I love Scotland too. I worked for a short while in Coldstream and would have moved to the Borders if the right job had come up.Cranberry - red squirrels are so cute, but in the US they are considered awful vermin because the make nests in the insulation of the houses and destroy loads of stuff!

I was pregnant with our son and we had a wonderful time walking with the dog. That was 36 years ago and I remember it all so clearly right down to the grilled trout and blackberry mousse we had for lunch in a hotel on the The Isle of Seil reached by a hump back 'bridge over the Atlantic'.
