Kindle reader

I've forgotten how to delete a book from my Kindle
Let me know and I'll write it down

Re: Kindle reader

Step 1
====
Use the directional pad to scroll down to the book to be deleted so that it is underlined.
Click the Right button on the directional pad and options will appear
Select "remove from device"
Press the centre button to confirm.

This puts the book into your Archived bucket.

Whilst in there it can be restored if you should need it back.

If you absolutely want rid of it for good then continue:

Step 2
====

Go to Amazon website
Login in to your account
Go to "Manage Your Kindle"
Find the book to delete in the list of books shown
Move cursor over the actions icons to the right and find the "Delete from Library" icon and click.

Note that doing this completely removes the book and effectively negates your purchase. i.e. If you ever decide you want that book again, you would have to buy it again.

Re: Kindle reader

You can, of course, also delete it by using your Calibre program, Patsy, which I assume you have.

I really do find that Calibre is a most useful utility, and I wouldn't be without it.

It's a software programme that can convert books and documents, for easy transfer to any reader.
