Grandson did some btec too so I've been informed he's ended up with 9GCSE.Don't understand all these "exams",I did "O" levels! Even if he'd only passed one-Mamgu would be pleased for him.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Oh they don't give you a time Jess - that's one of my gripes, 'cos you have to stay in all day, even if you do fancy going out, or have an appointment elsewhere! Grrrr!!!

Have had the grandsons today and apart from tidying up the back porch a bit this morning and putting out the re-cycling, it's rained all day! They've been very good though and have played (all over the house) with their toy tractors and implements. We've put a few pieces in the jigsaw - which is likely to be with us until Christmas at this rate - and made some cakes and that's about it for the day. Jamie was off to rugby training this evening - hope he's taken his waders............

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

We still haven't had rain here for weeks. We had about 15 minutes of spots here this afternoon which didn't stop me gardening. It's still very warm and today humid.

Congratulations to your grandson rhosyn. He did well.

Always good when the kids do well Rhosyn xx
Lovely warm sunshine here but the tide is full in so not much room on the beach. Lovely for me to look at though

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Wheelchair engineer came at lunchtime, but he's not too happy with one of the gas struts (it controls the slope of the back of the chair), so although he's adjusted it (again) I have a feeling it won't last too long! So a new one is on order and we are still keeping fingers crossed!

DIL brought me two beautiful muchrooms this evening, guess what I'm having for lunch tomorrow (with bacon and runner beans of course)

Well rain predicted here, at the moment it's a no show! It is cloudy though and not as unbearably hot. Lunch sounds nice Sue. I love mushrooms. I think sosme gardening today while it's cooler.
