I literally had to watch my step on my walk this morning, it was -7C last night so extremely icy. I have told my husband I will murder him if he ventures out.

Not deep snow here but I just ventured out and got back in fairly fast. Poor Elsie will miss her walk but it's treacherously icy. Betty wouldn't put a foot on the ground, clung to me like her life depended on it and is now hugging the radiator in the lounge

A bit of snow here now, not too bad but a red warning has been issued for later. I have no idea what that means.

Very deep here and blowy - I don't remember March snow like this in my lifetime - we get the odd squall but nothing like this - lot's of noise of people shoveling their driveways but no let up in the wind.

Not sure where you are Dongle, but snow blizzards are expected in the south west England and south Wales, later today.

I think red means danger to life and property. We don't get above yellow down here thankfully.

Yellow is "Be aware"

Amber is "Be prepared"

Red is "Take action"

No idea what kind of action you're supposed to take against snow though.
