Re: Snow

Here in London it starts, stops, starts, stops, sun comes out briefly inbetween. Umbrella goes up, comes down...

Makes doggy walking quite fun. Not.

I keep turning ours down, but I wouldn't dream of turning it off during the winter in the daytime, unless it was really mild.

Re: Snow

I think it's our 6th snowy day this winter but it hasn't settled.

Only one day when there was enough for snowpeople. That was the 10th Dec. I don't know how to post photos in here yet.

Today ... just a few snow showers, mostly gone now.

Re: Snow

We have had a few snow flurries, however I was really surprised to see that Moel Famau, a mountain we can see from our home, has no snow on it. Normally when there is any snow in our part of Wales it is the first to receive it.

Re: Snow

Can't be helped. It happens and we've all seen and dealt with it many times. Adjust your life accordingly for a few days.
Soon be Spring!

Re: Snow

I just hope that there will be enough snow to ensure that the youngsters can have a little fun with it.

Just like probably all of us did when we were kids.

OK. So we might not get to work, the schools might all close, there may be a shortage of food........

But watch the kids!

That's the only good thing about snow.
My 4 y.o. grandson has never seen it before.

Beauty of living in a middle floor flat, lady downstairs has hers on all the time, either side of us too and one above insulates us nicely too.

We get a lot of noise but we benefit from the heat they give us.
