Morse Music !

Any Inspector Morse fans in here?

I am trying to identify a particular piece of music -

Inspector Morse - series 6 - episode Cherubim and Seraphim. Vicki runs to Charlie's house. Charlie is mixing music for a rave - part of which is Classical - a really well known churchy choral piece - but I cannot put a name to it and it is driving me crazy.

Anyone any ideas ?

No, Rhian, I know that piece well enough having sung it often with various choirs.

The piece I am thinking of is much more delicate with soaring high notes.

Isn't it annoying when you cannot think of things?

No - not that one either. It is definitely choral not opera - although I have heard that one in another episode.

I have tried the official 'Morse' site - but they won't answer unless I send a subscription!
