Women versus Men

I have noticed ,while waiting in hospital waiting rooms, that very few men are on their own, yet many women are un accompanied.Does this mean men are weakling , need support from someone, while we women are stronger ???

Maybe because the wifey stays at home whilst the man grafts.
Man takes time off from work to go to hospital .dutiful wife accompanys him

Perhaps wifes don't trust their husbands with nurses.

I think it is probably because the men often don't ask enough questions, so wifey goes with him to ask the doctor things.

Secondly, it is usually the only way wifey exactly what has happened at the appointment. I think men either don't want to say, or forget half of it on the way back very often.

I do also agree with Rehab, and maybe the husband can't always get time off work to accompany his wife.

I'm on my own so I go on my own.
Besides if its something bad I don't want other people to know. Rather keep bad news to myself.

I've got to go for a diabetic eye test but have been told to bring someone with me as they are putting drops in my eyes which may blur my vision for a while. I don't have anyone to take so hope my vision won't be too blurred if at all.

If your a couple I would have thought if it was an important appointment you would go together anyway.

I go on my own to all my appointments but always accompany my good lady when she has an appointment, she doesn’t drive.

I usually go alone it's easier as I'm home most of the day. I tend to go with my husband because it's like getting blood out of a stone trying to find out how his appointments go unless I'm there taking my own notes.

I'd rather go on my own ..... in fact, have never dragged Mr M along with me whether it's the GP's or the hospital.
