Clearing Cookies

How often do you clear the cookies on your computer? I do it every day on both my MacBook and iPad, sometimes twice a day.

I also check for updates about once a week.

Re: Clearing Cookies

Not very often, probably about once a week or whenever a problem arises. Most cookies are not doing any harm and they do speed things up.

Re: Clearing Cookies

Apart from the important ones (which can be selected in Ccleaner) I clear them all out to prevent tracking.

Re: Clearing Cookies

Judd, that is exactly why I clear cookies daily, to avoid tracking.

Re: Clearing Cookies

The last time I cleared my cookies I couldn't get back onto the forum.

Hence the need for keeping the important ones.

Re: Clearing Cookies

I have never bothered clearing cookies until recently. I have noticed that a lot of sites tell you that all cookies have been cleared when you come off the site anyway. My laptop has Mcafee now and there is a cookie clearing function on it. I keep getting reminded and have been running the cookie clearing thingy just lately, but there are still a couple it can't clear for some reason. PC's are mysterious things to me.

Re: Clearing Cookies

How often do I clear Cookies? Never.....well....hardly ever.....I'll probably clear them out now you've reminded me about them with this thread CeCe, but unless I have a problem - which is very rare - I'll not bother. I don't have anything to do with 'Updates' and neither of my computers have ever run security programmes with absolutely no ill effects....thns.rth..&4£....Cvbn..{ert} ...,,*)!....untul neow?

By the way....What's 'Tracking?'
