Re: Kebabs

We enjoy One occasionally I like them with chilli sauce and my OH likes them with garlic sauce, again we have a good reason to put two fingers up to the Marxist EU, any way we wont be in it soon so they can **** ***.

Re: Kebabs

Never had a kebab they look awful to me and I have seen flies land on them. Not for me, so I wont miss them.

Just had a thought we won't be in Europe so the ban won't affect us 😀

ETS..just noticed others have said this too😶

Re: Kebabs

A kebab is a once in a very long while treat

One feeds two of us very well indeed. Actually don’t think we have had one this year at all. Usually we get one when BIL stays over as his town doesn’t have a kebab shop at all and he loves them. Last time he stayed we ordered four kebabs and they fed 7 adults

My favourite kebab is the Iskander kebab. It is absolutely delish.

Re: Kebabs

A friend of mine receives the left over Kebabs from her local fish & chips shop.
They let her have them for feeding to the 23 foxes in her rescue sanctuary.

Re: Kebabs

There are a variety of Kebabs......not just doner as described by posters.

Kebab is a broad term for grilled meat.

Re: Kebabs

Not really a fan TBH, Thought of that meat turning on a spit just doesn"t appeal. I think I can understand why lads who been out on town could fancy one .
But probably the amount of booze they put away kills all germs.

Re: Kebabs

I used to love them before I knew how they made the meat. But I think that this idea was voted out so they seem to be here to stay.

I always thought that Kebabs were a dare, a sort of bush tucker trial for drunks staggering out of the pub
