When I was messing about in 'Settings' in WIN10 I came across a setting called 'Night Light'. if you are a bit of a night owl you might find this useful.
It turns off blue in your screen after a specific time which you can set. I tried it and sure enough dead on 9pm the screen changed to a slightly yellowy screen.
The idea is that blue stuffs up the body clock or something like that and prevents you sleeping so by turning blue off while you use the computer late in the evening or at night eventually when you are tired or ready for bed you should still be able to sleep without problems.
Settings > Display
You can change the settings - mine are left on default which is 9pm to 7am. You get used to the strange cast on the screen I am leaving it active just to see if I notice any difference.
Hi Bruce I have night light set to on during the day as well as evening. For me windows 10 is far too bright even on low settings and makes my eyes sore. Night light solves the problem with its subdued effect.
I've got tru-tone on my iPhone and iPad - it's subtly different from night-light, changing the screens tone as it sees fit according to surrounding brightness throughout the day.

Because when it's summer here it's winter down under, and when we are asleep you are awake, I thought the hours between 9pm and 7am would be in daylight?....

Certainly we are a sunny place even at night.
When I said it "turns off blue" that can't be quite right because blue things on the screen still look blue but the colour balance is definitely changed toward the yellow.
