One thing I don't like with Windows 10

windows 10 has a built in program called Windows Defender

Maybe this will not affect everyone but it is an issue on the internet

What I have come across, and so have others looking up on the net, is one part that says realtime. This can be turned off to enable ,in my case Adobe Premier Elements videos, to transfer from this suite to say computer or youtube.

The problem is this realtime segment reverts back to switching on after a time. The only way to stop this happening is to remove Windows Defender completely from the computer.

Maybe Microsoft at some stage will make this feature on or off without reverting back to the on position.

My genkius son has sorted the problem.

I was also running an antivirus program called AVAST which i have been using for years. According to my son the programmers for AVAST have been tinkering and added a false certificate or something , leaving a big hole in the program. That is all he said as he had come up with this problem before

Well we have found it doesn't like avg, roboform free version or paid for version, our money programme we've used for years. Anything we've ever found useful really.


Edge drives several of us to distraction and no tesco app runs on it at all.

Pretty useless for most of us but grace uses it for her homework and that was principle of buying it so can't really complain. Just thought it might suit more of us than it does.

You can turn off Edge or rather make other programs such as Windows Explorer or Firefox the default.
