One also needs to read the small print in the contracts as many insurers will not renew at the end of the year for pre-existing conditions, e.g. Diabetes, epilepsy etc. So, having been treated for what could be a long term problem, then you find they are uninsurable.Re: Pet insurance

When my furbaby was a baby we took out insurance at £8 per month with more than. Over the years the premium got higher and higher reaching eventually £60 per month and when he had to have an operation on his leg we were still left with big bill anyway so we dont pay it anymore. We put money aside in a separate account for emergencies. They have had more than enough money out of us, it was scandalous.
