Tessa, Life never dies it just goes on in different forms.. so I am sending you this poem.
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there, I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints in snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,

When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight,

My Dad had a favourite poem called, "The Unsubdued "Can't do copy and post on my phone, but that was about beginning again.On the way to the vet's there was a rainbow over the road and the following day I found a little white feather on the back doorstep
Sounds daft but I think they were messages.
it is such a horrible experience losing a much love pet...

I 100% believe this - and I have the words of the Rainbow Bridge under a photo of one of my boys too.
