I did enjoy Broome in WA but only in winter - it has had two near misses with cyclones already this summer. I am not sure I left my heart there though.

I feel the same about Montana/Wyoming Clumsy, nothing like laying in your bed in a cabin listening to the wolves howling, talk about the call of the wild. Truly memorable.

Lovely photo's Bruce. Australia is such a huge country that is must have many areas of natural beauty, where humans haven't invaded!

I left a big piece of my heart in London where I was born. Another large piece is in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Alberta, Canada. We emigrated there in the early 80's and I became enthralled by this beautiful land and it's friendly, generous people. I keep the last piece of my heart in Derbyshire, close to the Peak District with my family. This is where I will remain now.
