I got a cheapo slider phone,in the car,use it about twice a year,payg,,,got no time for them,i enjoy quiet life to much
I have a landline.

I use mine for navigation, as a music player, Netflix, browsing, for the camera and video and as a general PDA device. Actual phone calls or texts are quite rarely used.

When I'm out it stays firmly in my pocket when I'm walking unless I'm taking a photo of something.

When I was a self employed courier it was by my side twenty four seven. I had a hands free installed in the van - it was before the days of bluetooth - and I would answer every call. Most of my work came via the mobile. Handy for keeping in touch with Mrs Fox and telling her to put my dinner on when returning home from a job......Or she couldn't be arsed, in which case it would be MacDonalds.......I still get the fluttering heart when I hear it ring now, wondering which part of the UK I will be zooming off to at a moments notice. Then I realise I'm retired and can stand down.....

It sits by the side of the sink now in the kitchen and is rarely used. Only family and one or two friends are listed in my directory, so if anyone calls it might be an emergency so I always answer it. I take it everywhere I go though, why have this amazing technology and not take advantage of it. Like Tpin says, it might save yours or someone else's life one day.
And it would come in handy if my motor ever breaks down (Green Flag to the rescue) gone are the days when I would get out and get under and fix it myself.

I should take it out with me when running, I did for a while after my Heart Attack, but it seems to have dropped off now, the extra weight slowed me down....It's got a camera but I prefer to take photos on my compact Nikon S200, and I never look at the internet on it because the screen is too small, and I can't be faffing about texting, I'd sooner ring people up and talk to them. So now it's a bit like my specs, I don't always need them but they're there if I do.....
