I go to my eye appointments as they think I am still not allowed to drive after my eye operation, So Sue drives there and back and comes in with me.I surrendered my driving licence for 18 months as they the surgeon was going to inform the DVLA anyway so they said
I got my licence back after taking the DVLA eye sight test, but the hospital don't know that. When asked all I say is MR G. the surgeon stopped me driving over 2 year ago and they are happy with that.
At that time as well as you know or may not know I was also seriously ill in hospital with a chance of not coming out
So I will always want Sue with me after all that

I do also agree with Rehab, and maybe the husband can't always get time off work to accompany his wife.
I always ask what did he say and get the reply nothing or not much .
